They were evaluated by Marlene and Carmy.
The Soap Box speaker was Christiane, who spoke of her frustrating experience with Australian Bureaucracy when she applied for an Australian visa.
Eoin conducted a quick Listening Quiz. Arun delivered a detailed General Evaluation of the evening.
Jenny, acting as Area Director, congratulated the club on being one of the top performing clubs in District 69.
The award winners for the evening were John (Best Table Topics,) Paul (Best Evaluator,) and Mali (Best Speech and Most Improved.)

All the best to John who is competing in the International Speech Contest this weekend at the District Conference in Stanthorpe.
Next meeting will be on Tuesday 12th May. The theme is "Nursing Fudgy Limerick Hangovers." (?!!!)
There will be a short business session and election of Club Officers for the Toastmaster year 30th June 26 - 1st July 27. Please consider taking on an executive role. It is very rewarding and you will receive plenty of help and guidance.
The club executive roles are:
The President provides overall leadership of the executive committee and the club
The Vice-President of Education (VPE) manages the club's educational programme and support of members.
The Vice-President of Membership (VPM) manages the guest-to-member process.
The Vice-President of Public Relations (VPPR) promotes the club, e.g., through social media and the club's website.
The Secretary manages the club's records, such as minutes.
The Treasurer manages the club's finances, such as membership dues.
The Sergeant-at-arms (SAA) manages the club's property and venue.
The Immediate past president supports and advises the executive committee.
