Meetiong 944 "Mind Your Language"

Marlene
The vagaries of the English language provided entertainment at the meeting. Toastmaster of the evening Marlene gave some examples of Spoonerisms and Malaprops.

We had three guests, Paul, James and Tami.

Word Master Jean S chose the word "desist," meaning "to stop doing something, cease or abstain."
