As well as being a member of our club, Trish has been an Area Director several times, Division Director, and has been District Historian. Our club president Helen presented Trish with flowers and a plaque commemorating her 30 years in our club.

Helen had prepared a presentation of Trish's achievements during her 30 years in Toastmasters. When the computer failed to connect with the big screen, she quickly adjusted to "Plan B" which everyone could see.

This was followed by the presentation of the plaque and Trish responded with an entertaining impromptu speech.

Meeting 1171 "Ireland"

Our regular meeting place was undergoing storm damage repairs, but thanks to the resourcefulness of our president Helen and VPE Christiane and the generosity of the Redcliffe Church of Christ, we were able to conduct our meeting in the church hall.

Scarlett, Eoin and Robert

Because St Patrick's Day is in March, Toastmaster Narelle had chosen the theme "Ireland."

Marlene proposed a toast to "The Irish and their sense of humour."

Helen chose the word for the evening - "Harmonious." It was used at least once by most members.
